Online Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies (BLS) is offered as an online program through the School of Professional & Continuing Studies. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in paralegal, government, law enforcement, nonprofit organizations, or regulatory/ compliance offices of corporate organizations — especially in heavily-regulated fields such as insurance, health care, energy, financial services and government contracting. Students that have already completed a related associate or certificate level program will find that our BLS degree offers the additional knowledge and skills needed for career advancement.

The rigorous online Legal Studies degree also prepares students for further academic study and may poise them for career advancement. Graduates of Dominican's BLS program will have had the opportunities to develop the critical thinking and writing skills necessary to succeed in law school, as well as other professional schools and graduate programs in social sciences.

Earn your Bachelor's in Legal Studies from an institution that has been fighting for social justice for more than a century!
