Today, more than ever, a college education can give you an enormous advantage in both a military and civilian career. Unfortunately, the rigorous demands of the military lifestyle, including long hours, irregular schedules and frequent relocation, can make earning your degree difficult.

For this reason, Grand Canyon University (GCU) has developed a military university program specifically to meet the needs of military professionals, DOD personnel and their families. In recognition of our outstanding support for military university students, Grand Canyon University was recently named a G.I. Jobs Military Friendly Schools in 2012 and 2013.

The Higher Learning Commission and its predecessor have continually accredited Grand Canyon University since 1968, obtaining its most recent ten-year reaccreditation in 2007. In addition, the University has obtained specialized accreditations and approvals for our core programs.
